I had shared worry being experienced in relation to the future based upon believing something you want or need will not come to fruition. Anxiety is created by the fear of being hurt of losing something. And, when an individual experiences a hurt or loss anger will eventually become the outcome.
It is important to understand how one deals with that intense emotion. Some people yell at another which can escalate the anger especially if the other retaliates the same. Many will become passive aggressive i.e., silent, mumbling something, perhaps derogatory, under their breath, not share why they are angry, etc.
I have asked some of my clients what is positive about being angry? Anger creates an opportunity to understand its cause and come to terms with those feelings. It is also provides the energy to share those feelings with a close friend or partner. Most importantly one can eventually open the heart to love, truth, wisdom.
Next time I will share the feelings of guilt.
